Information & Referral Services
There are thousands of programs and services for seniors in Maryland. The information available about all of these resources can be overwhelming. Fortunately, the information and referral programs operated by government and non-profit organizations can help you understand the options and find those services that may be helpful to you and your loved one.
Every county in Maryland, including Baltimore City, operates a Senior Information and Assistance Office. Information specialists provide information over the phone and in the office. They may link the caller/visitor to organizations that provide service, send printed material about services and/or assist in completing applications for benefits and services. For more information, call the Baltimore County SIA office now to speak to a Certified Information and Referral Specialist.
